Amtrak Resumes Service Between DC, Philadelphia
BALTIMORE (AP) — Amtrak says service has restarted between Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia after service was suspended for about three hours by overhead wire problems.
Amtrak spokesman Cliff Cole says crews are still trying to complete repairs on wires north of Baltimore on Sunday evening, but one track has reopened.
Cole says there will still be 30-minute delays while trains alternate on the one open stretch of track, but regular service should be restored Sunday evening.
