American Airlines Workers, Union Leaders Gather At Philadelphia Airport To Call On Congress To Pass Payroll Support
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- American Airlines and union leaders joined forces Tuesday to call on Congress to pass another round of payroll support. They gathered at Philadelphia International Airport Tuesday morning.
American Airlines says it will have to lay off an estimated 19,000 team members unless Congress extends the payroll support program.
Ten thousand of those team members are based in our region.
