Amazon Warehouse Clogs Roads Near New Jersey Facility
ROBBINSVILLE, NJ (CBS) -- Business is booming inside Amazon's warehouse in Robbinsville, New Jersey, but residents say the holiday rush has led to gridlock on nearby roads.
Robbinsville's mayor says the facility was approved for 3,000 trips daily, but they're rolling out about 5,000.
The traffic grinds to a half for miles when employees enter and exit the facility during rush hour.
Amazon officials say starting Monday, workers will begin to work on staggered shifts to alleviate gridlock traffic.
