Amazon's New Drone Will Deliver Packages
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Amazon says they will start offering deliveries by drone in the next few months. The company unveiled its latest "Prime Air" electric delivery drone Wednesday.
Amazon says the drones will be able to deliver packages that weigh less than five pounds over distances of up to 15 miles in less than a half-hour.
So far, there's no word on where the deliveries will take place or how many drones are in the Amazon fleet.
