Alleged Church Burglar Caught In The Act In Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- A suspect was arrested after he was caught in the act trying to steal donations from a church in Delaware.
The attempted burglary happened at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Faith Tabernacle United Holy Church on Vandever Avenue in Wilmington.
According to investigators, several neighbors called police after they observed a man climbing through a church window.
When officers arrived, the suspect, identified by police as 27-year-old Emanuel Carr, ran out of the church from the back.
Carr was eventually taken into custody after a brief foot chase. While searching Carr, investigators say they found several envelopes with money inside.
Carr, of New Castle, Delaware is facing charges of Third-Degree Burglary Criminal Mischief, Theft and Criminal Trespass.
He was arraigned and is being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of a $3,700 secured bond.
