Alleged Bank Robber Arrested With Money Falling Out Of Pockets

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) – An attempted bank robbery was foiled when police caught the suspect red-handed, with money falling out of his pockets.

Police say 20-year-old Andres Acosta robbed the Bank of America branch in Bensalem, with what the teller thought was a gun tucked into his waistband. Police later discovered that it was actually a cell phone disguised as a gun.

Police say Acosta fled the scene on foot. Nearby officers saw a man of Acosta's description getting into a taxi. When they took him out of the cab, police say the officers saw money falling out of his pockets.

Acosta is being held in Bucks County Prison on $200,000 bail.
