Alexander McClure Elementary To Reopen Wednesday Following Closure Due To Asbestos
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Officials say Alexander McClure Elementary will reopen Wednesday. The School District of Philadelphia says repairs have been made and testing has determined the building is safe.
Students from kindergarten to fifth grade will be back on Wednesday.
Pre-K students will return next Tuesday.
Before winter break, damage to asbestos-containing pipe insulation was discovered, which prompted the closure.
