Add DeSean Jackson To The List Of Eagles Wide Receiver Injuries
By Spike Eskin
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Losing Jeremy Maclin would be a big hit to the Eagles offense. Losing DeSean Jackson as well would be very difficult to overcome in Sunday's home opener against the Ravens.
Andy Reid told the media today that DeSean Jackson will not practice Thursday because of a hamstring injury. Jeremy Maclin's hip pointed continues to keep him out of practice as well.
Though Riley Cooper has returned to practice, he's been ruled out of Sunday's game.
The Eagles re-signed wide receiver Mardy Gilyard when Maclin went down, but would have to add another receiver is Jackson is unable to go on Sunday. They've got two WR's on the practice squad, rookies Marvin McNutt and BJ Cunningham.
