Actor Ted Danson Coming To West Chester Today
WEST CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- An 80s sitcom star will be in our area today to campaign for Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.
People can sign up to have lunch with actor and environmental activist, Ted Danson in West Chester at 2 p.m.
Danson, famous for playing Sam Malone on "Cheers" and his role on "CSI: Cyber" attended the Democratic National Convention back in July, along with his wife, Mary Steenburgen.
Last Wednesday, First Lady Michelle Obama was in Philadelphia campaigning for Clinton at LaSalle University.
Organizers say Monday's event is a chance for voters to learn more about Ted's activism and his views on the election.
Celebrities who have endorsed Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump include another sitcom star, Scott Baio famous for his role as Chachi on Happy Days, as well as Mike Tyson, Kid Rock and singer Azealia Banks.
