Actor James Earl Jones Receives Marian Anderson Award

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Actor James Earl Jones was in Philadelphia Monday night to receive the Marian Anderson Award at the Kimmel Center.
James Earl Jones was introduced to the crowd by host and actor Terrence Howard, and received a standing ovation. Howard went on to celebrate Jones' contributions to theater, film and television.
"Mr. Jones you are an incredible creative force in our American culture. Your body of work on stage, on film and on television is almost without measure."
The event also featured the music of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the talents of international tenor Lawrence Brownlee and others.
