UPDATE: 2 Injured In Schuylkill Expressway Crash
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two people are hospitalized Friday night following an accident involving several vehicles on the Schuylkill Expressway in Philadelphia.
It happened shortly before 9 p.m. on I-76 westbound between West Exit 341 - Montgomery Dr/West River Dr and West Exit 339 – US 1 South/City Ave.
All westbound lanes were shut down for about 40 minutes, causing a traffic delay for miles into Center City.
Two people were taken to Hahnemann University Hospital.
There is no word on the conditions of the victims.
The accident remains under investigation.
