AAA Mid-Atlantic: New Jersey Gas Prices Down Slightly
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Motorists are still seeing slightly lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in New Jersey on Friday was $3.38, down 2 cents from last week. It's also more than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.30.
Meanwhile, the national average price fell by 8 cents to $3.51. But that's higher than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.37.
Analysts say gas prices should stay stable through the upcoming holiday weekend, but could rise slightly after that as summer travel heats up.
