A Spring Surge in Temperature, But Here Comes Some April Showers

By Kathy Orr

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --Temperatures will be at or above normal this week, but the chance of rain will increase as a cold front stalls over our area Wednesday.

There will be a 50% change of a showers Wednesday morning, but they will be light and only last an hour or two.

Thursday expect a mild day with occasional showers, a good day to pack the umbrella!

Then more rain Friday as another system moves our way.

I do not expect a lot of rain this week, with .1"-.25", per event, at best.

Saturday, conditions will dry out and skies will begin to clear.

Sunday looks like a pleasant day to be outside with highs near 60, and plenty of sunshine.

The Phillies home opener, Monday will be dry to start, with highs in the 50's, but another rainmaker may move in before the Game ends.
