A New Face Comes To CBS 3

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Over at our sister station, CBS 3 Eyewitness News, there's a new co-anchor for the at 5, 6, and 11 P-M shows.

Her name is Jessica Dean and she hails from Little Rock, Arkansas.

As she's learning her way around town she made a stop at the Italian Market in South Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is a city of neighborhoods and it's filled with people who will tell you like it is.

And Jessica says that's something she appreciates.

"I love that everybody is just very open. Especially when you are new to town. I need to know everything," Dean said.

Charlie Junior at Cannulli Meats on 9th street gave this advice, "Short Ribs are a big item now. And Philadelphia is the great melting pot. I'm sure it's very different than Little Rock."

And if you are going to live in Philly you better learn how to order a cheesesteak.

So the folks at Geno's gave her a tutorial, all you need is a "Wiz with onions".
