9 Delaware Men Charged In Ocean City, Md., Attack
OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Ocean City police say nine Delaware men have been charged with assault in the attack of two men on the boardwalk.
Police say they were called to a fight the area of Somerset Street and Atlantic Avenue early Sunday. Authorities say two men told police they were attacked by a group of men. One of the men also had a wallet and cell phone taken from him.
Police say they found six of the suspects in two cars in the area of 54th Street and Coastal Highway. They later located a third vehicle carrying the other three suspects.
Authorities say the men, ages 18 to 25, have each been charged with two counts of assault. Two men were also charged with weapons offenses, and one man was charged with theft.
