65-Year-Old Woman Shot In Broad Daylight In West Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 65-year-old woman was shot in broad daylight in the Overbrook section of West Philadelphia on Wednesday morning. The shooting happened on the 5200 block of Harlan Street, shortly before 10:30 a.m.
Police say the victim was shot once in the left ankle by a gunman from inside a black vehicle.
The woman was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
