$50 Million Gift Jump Starts Villanova's Campaign
VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) — Villanova University says a $50 million gift has jump started the public phase of its $600 million capital campaign.
The gift from alumnus James Davis, a 1981 graduate, and his wife, Kim, is made through the Davis Family Foundation.
The gift is designated for the Villanova School of Business.
The capital campaign has already raised $300 million as it shifts to its public phase.
The goal is to raise $250 million for endowments, $125 million to improve academic programs, $150 million for facilities, and $75 million for the school's annual fund.
