5 Wounded After Spate Of Shootings In Camden
CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Prosecutors say a spate of shootings over a 13-hour stretch in Camden have left five people wounded.
The first shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, when a 21-year-old city man was struck in the hand while driving.
Two men were shot multiple times in the next incident, which occurred about 40 minutes later. The victims, a 19-year-old Camden man and a 21-year-old Barrington man, both remained hospitalized Wednesday.
The next shooting occurred early Wednesday, when a 48-year-old Camden man was shot multiple times. The gunfire knocked him off the bike, but he ran to safety. He's hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
The final shooting was reported around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. A 53-year-old cab driver from Camden was shot in both arms after a passenger attempted to rob him.
