CINNAMINSON, N.J. (CBS) -- Five people were hospitalized after an accident involving a vehicle and a school bus in Cinnaminson, Burlington County.
The video is jarring and hard to watch. Take a look as a car drives into an intersection and oncoming traffic, T-boning a school bus that looks to be traveling at full speed.
It happened at Route 130 and Riverton Road in Cinnaminson Friday afternoon.
This is exclusive video you'll see only on Eyewitnesses News. Witnesses tell CBS 3 the driver is a 94-year-old man they know from town who has trouble walking. His wife was in the passenger seat. Sources say the elderly man allegedly ran a red light and drove straight into rush hour traffic on a busy road.
On the bus, two adults and a 17-year-old student were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. They were treated for minor injuries and released.
The elderly couple was taken to Cooper University Hospital. They are listed in serious condition.
Charges against the elderly driver are pending.
An investigation is continuing.
