4-Alarm Fire Torches City Line Houlihan's
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Six fire companies responded to a four alarm restaurant fire on City Line Avenue in Bala Cynwyd Wednesday evening.
Chefs at the Houlihan's were cooking chicken wings for the Spring Fling party outside of the restaurant when the frying station caught fire.
The fire made it's way into the duct work and into the celling in a matter of moments.
"We look over and see a little bit of fire on the back of the frier, next thing you know it's all up and everywhere in a matter of minutes," said a Houlihan's chef. "It was up in the duct system before we got the fire extinguisher out and that didn't work too well."

Six fire companies from around the area arrived to find heavy smoke billowing from the kitchen exhaust vent on the roof. The four alarm fire took an hour to bring under control.
One person was injured and treated on the scene.
Damage to the interior of the building is extensive and the Houlihan's is expected to be closed for several months.
