3rd Arrest Made In Deadly Shooting At Gloucester Township Apartment Complex
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -- Authorities have charged a third person in a shooting that left a man dead earlier this month at a Gloucester Township apartment complex.
A 17-year-old from Willingboro is charged with robbery stemming from the shooting death of 20-year-old Lamar Ortiz.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says a 16-year-old from Edgewater Park is charged with murder and is accused of shooting Ortiz. Authorities also charged 20-year-old Joshua Texidor of Westampton Township with felony murder and robbery.
Authorities say Texidor and the juveniles wanted to rob Ortiz as part of a drug deal. The 16-year-old is accused of opening fire when Ortiz walked away from the deal.
An 18-year-old who was in the vehicle with the three suspects was grazed by a bullet and is not expected to be charged.
