3 Reasons Tonight's Flyers Game Atmosphere Will Be Special

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Flyers are trailing the Washington Capitals in their first-round playoff series 2-0. They've been outscored 6-1 and their best two-way forward Sean Couturier is out for two weeks with a shoulder injury.

And this happened on Saturday.

But here are three reasons tonight's atmosphere at the Wells Fargo Center will be unforgettable.

3. First home-playoff game since Ed Snider passed away

There will be extra emotion in the building from the get-go, as fans will pay tribute to Philadelphia's hockey czar. There will be a two-minute tribute video prior to the start of the game.

2. Light-up Bracelets

The Flyers are urging fans to get into the arena by 7:00 p.m. promptly, for a pre-game ceremony. Every seat has a light-up bracelet on it.

1. Do-Or-Die

Sure, the Flyers actually have come back from a 3-0 series deficit before, but it's not going to happen again. It's going to be tense tonight. Win, and you've got renewed hope and momentum heading into Game 4. Lose, and the season is basically over.
