"It was kind of exciting to jump on something new, said Dalton Castano, owner of More than Just Ice Cream.
His restaurant offered a deal for $10 dollars worth of food, for just $7.
Castano says it's a great way for him to attract customers during slower times of the day and week.
"Especially this time of year. In the summer, like lunches aren't quite as busy," said Castano.
And there's a host of categories to choose from.
In the mood for shopping?
A deal at Busybee Homestore & Design Center lets you spend $20 for $40 worth of merchandise.
Looking for something to do? Tour historic Elfreth's Alley for $2, a 60 percent savings.
Or melt your stress away, spending $35 for $50 dollars worth of massage services at Lux Spa and Fitness where owner Tiffany Bucciarelli loves the immediacy of Groupon Now.
"You buy it now, you use it now. It allows you to pick and choose and just be sporadic about something that you want to do throughout the city," said Bucciarelli.
Something she says works for merchants and customers.
"It's booking our business last minute, so it's keeping us busy, it's giving the customer a discount and I really think it's a win win all in all," said Bucciarelli.
So what happens if you buy a Groupon Now deal and you aren't able to use it within the specified time period? Within 30 days of the expiration date you'll be automatically refunded.
