3 Juveniles, 1 Adult Arrested For Rash Of Mayhem In South Jersey
GLOUCESTER, NJ (CBS) – Four suspects are under arrest in South Jersey for allegedly committing multiple thefts from area residences.
On June 20, Gloucester Township police were dispatched to the 300 block of Crestview Avenue in Blenheim for reports of several people attempting to steal a motorcycle from a residence. The ensuing investigation led officers to another residence on the same block where the suspects had reportedly fled. Two juvenile males and one adult male were located inside the residence.
After investigating, police determined that the three suspects were responsible for a number of incidents in the neighborhood that included several motor vehicle burglaries and the burglary of a residential garage. During the garage robbery, the suspects stole two BB guns, then used the guns to shoot out the windows of a pickup truck parked in the neighborhood as well as the window of a home on the 200 block of Crestview Avenue.
Police also interviewed a third juvenile, who was found to be in the possession of a bicycle that was recently stolen from an apartment complex in the area. The bike was returned to its owner.
The adult male suspect was identified as Corey Ferro, an 18-year-old from Blackwood, NJ. He was charged with burglary, theft and criminal damage. He was later released with a pending court date.
The three juveniles will most likely face charges of burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal damage.
