3 Critical After Suffering Electric Shock In NJ
BELLMAWR, N,J. (CBS) - Authorities in Camden County say three people are in critical condition after being shocked by a power line Sunday afternoon.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. at the Bellmawr Manor Apartments located on the 1000 block of Kings Highway.
According to authorities, two men in their 50s and a woman in her 20s were attempting to set up a ladder to get on to the roof of the building when they struck the line. Electricity went through the ladder and shocked them on the ground.
All three were unconscious when paramedics arrived on the scene. They were all immediately taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The incident is under investigation.
