2nd Suspect In 3-Year-Old's Death ID'd, Police Release Mugshot Of Man Charged

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Philadelphia Police are looking for a second supect in connection with the shooting death of a three-year-old girl Friday night in the Grays Ferry section of the city.
That suspect has been identified as Brandon Ruffin.
Police released the mugshot of Douglas Woods Sunday-- the suspect charged in the Grays Ferry shooting on Friday night.
Woods, 22, has been arrested and charged with murder, 3 counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault, and other offenses.
This is the first photo of Woods released by police, who was taken into custody shortly after the shooting as a person of interest.
Briheim Rice, the father of 3-year-old Tynirah Borum, spoke to KYW Newsradio on Sunday. "I'm glad they got him but I'm still hurt though. I'm still hurt right now," he said. "That's my only child. I'm gonna really miss her."
The shooting took place at about 9:40 p.m. on August 1st in the 1500 block of South Etting Street in the city's Grays Ferry section.
Bullets hit four people, including the young girl.
She was getting her hair braided on a neighborhood porch when she was hit in the chest with a stray bullet. She died later at the hospital.
Her mother, Tamika Borum, describes her as a beautiful little girl who would hug people in the neighborhood. "I'm very hurt, my heart is broken, my stomach is in knots," said Borum. "I'm just very confused right now that this even happened."
Now, the grieving mother says she's planning a funeral for that girl who had so much more life to live.
On Saturday, the Grays Ferry community rallied to end violence and a vigil was held for the young victim Saturday night.
This is the fourth child to be killed in Philadelphia in the last week, after three children were killed in a fatal hit-and-run last Friday.
