2nd Person Dies After Newark Shooting
NEWARK, Del. (AP) — New Castle County police say a second person shot at a Newark area apartment complex Monday has died.
Police said in a statement Friday that 23-year-old Keifer C. Wright of Philadelphia had died of his injuries. Another man, 20-year-old Michael Thomas of Philadelphia, also died in the shooting at the Harbor Club Apartment complex (see related story).
Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the shooting, which police say was part of a robbery attempt. Twenty-year-old Paul Lacombe of
Philadelphia was charged with murder and other charges. Twenty-four-year-old Elijah Pressley of Newark was charged with attempted robbery and other charges.
And twenty-one-year-old Christie Emmons of Newark was charged with attempted robbery and other charges.
A family member who answered at Emmons' house declined comment. Lacombe and Pressley did not have listed numbers.
