$250K Mega Millions Ticket Sold At Northeast Philly Deli
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - If you bought a lottery ticket for the January 25 Mega Millions at a deli in Northeast Philadelphia, check your tickets – you could be a quarter of a million dollars richer.
A ticket worth $250,000 was sold at the Bi Rite Deli in the 3200 block of Red Lion Road.
The winning ticket correctly matched all five white balls, 05-08-31-46-50, but not the yellow Mega Ball 04, for a prize of $250,000, less 25-percent federal withholding.
The store will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Lottery officials cannot confirm the identity of the January 25 winner until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
The Mega Millions jackpot grew to an estimated annuity value of $77 million, or $48.3 million cash, for the Friday, January 28 drawing.
Mega Millions tickets are sold in 43 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
