2013 IN REVIEW: Corbett's Poll Numbers Take A Hit

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Pennsylvania Governor Corbett's abysmal poll numbers made for one of the big stories of 2013.
In a Quinnipiac University Poll released in mid-December, 56-percent of Pennsylvania residents said Governor Corbett does not deserve re-election.
During 2013, as the incumbent Republican's poll numbers went down, Democrats lined up to challenge him.
Undaunted, Corbett in November announced his re-election bid, reminiscing about facing steep odds before – when he and a friend ran for township commissioner:
"We were supposed to be sacrificial lambs. Literally. 'We want you to run but you're not going to win'…and that was 1987. Neither one of us looked at polls… [or] took that advice."
Corbett has been named by political websites as the nation's most vulnerable sitting governor.
More than half a dozen Democrats and at least one conservative Republican activist have announced plans to challenge him.
