2 Wilmington Residents Injured When Vehicle Rolls Over In Snow
WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say two women were hurt when their car overturned several times on a snow-covered road.
It happened Thursday about 3:10 p.m. on the ramp between Interstate 495 and 12th Street. Police say a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Marilyn L. Jervey of Wilmington left the west edge of the road and overturned several times.
Jervey and a passenger in her car, 71-year-old Mamie Brown of Wilmington, had to be extricated from the vehicle. They were taken to Wilmington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Jervey was cited for careless driving.
