2 NJ State Troopers' Vehicles Struck By Lightning With Troopers Inside
MIDDLE Twp., NJ (CBS) -- Police say two New Jersey State Troopers' vehicles were struck by lightning, with the troopers still inside, on the Garden State Parkway Tuesday afternoon.

Police say initial reports from the scene indicate that around 2:13 p.m., two troopers were sitting in their patrol vehicles at a construction site on the Garden State Parkway in Middle Township when both of their cars were struck by lightning.
Police say neither trooper sustained serious injuries.
The troopers' identities have not been released at this time.
