2 Men Charged In Connection To Timber Creek High School Vandalism
GLOUCESTER TWP., N. J. (CBS) – Two men have been charged in connection to damage that was done to Timber Creek High School earlier this month.
On Thursday, police arrested Justin Maze, 20, of Marlton, for his alleged involvement in causing about $350 worth of damage to the high school.
On Friday, authorities say Michael Thompson, 20, of Erial, New Jersey, walked into the Gloucester Township Police Department and surrendered himself as one of two suspects still wanted in the incident.
According to police, on July 5th, three white males approached the school with their faces covered with their t-shirts. The suspects reportedly threw a trash can at a door, causing the glass to shatter. They also tried to break a window with a tree.
Police received information from sources about the case after video was placed on social media sites.
Maze has been charged with fourth degree criminal trespass on school grounds and criminal mischief. He has been released on a criminal summons. Thompson was also charged with criminal mischief and released on a summons pending a future court date.
Authorities are still looking for the third suspect.
