2 Men, 1 Juvenile Charged With Robbing Delaware Restaurant
DOVER, Del. (AP) -- Delaware State Police say two men and a 16-year-old have been charged with robbing a fast food restaurant in Dover.
It happened Sunday about 10:25 p.m. at the Sonic Restaurant on Gateway South Boulevard. Troopers say two men, both wearing masks, entered the restaurant. One pointed a sawed-off shotgun at the two employees and demanded that they open the safe.
A third man stood lookout.
The robbers got cash and the three fled in a car.
A Dover police officer saw a car matching the description of the escape vehicle and arrested one man and the teen. The second man was arrested later.
Forty-one-year-old Jerome Williams of Dover, 25-year-old James Staten of Magnolia and the 16-year-old were all charged with robbery and are being held on secured bail.
