2 Injured In Accident On New Jersey Turnpike
CHERRY HILL, NJ (CBS) - Two people were injured after a two-car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike in Camden County early Thursday morning.
The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. at the southbound off-ramp to the Walt Whitman service plaza in Cherry Hill.
According to investigators, a Lincoln Town Car rear-ended a tractor trailer on the off-ramp. Two people were taken to area hospitals for injuries sustained in the accident. The extent of the injuries was not immediately known.
The accident remains under police investigation.
Traffic in the area was backed up for several hours as crews worked to clear the accident.
