By Dan Wing
CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) - The Camden County Prosecutor's Office is searching for a man responsible for shooting five people Saturday night, killing two of them.
Authorities says the five victims were sitting in a Sedan on Hull Road just before midnight when a masked man approached the vehicle. He entered the driver's side of the car and opened fire on everyone inside.
An 18-year old female and 20-year old man were both killed. A 16-year old female was shot in the head and remains in critical condition. A 20-year old female was shot in the face, and another 16-year old girl was shot in the arm and shoulder, but was able to escape and call 9-1-1.
The shooter, who was also armed with a machete, then pushed the dead driver out of the vehicle and drove the car to a dirt road off Morgan Boulevard. That is where the woman who had been shot in the face jumped from the vehicle and ran. The shooter chased after her briefly, but was last seen running towards Morgan Boulevard.
The victims are being treated at Cooper Hospital in Camden.
The killer is described as Hispanic, standing about 6-feet tall. He wore a black mask over the bottom half of his face, and yellow latex gloves.
