Investigators: 2 Bodies Found In Wooded Area In Middle Township
MIDDLE Twp., N.J., (CBS) -- The bodies of a male and a female were discovered in a wooded area of Middle Township, investigators announced Wednesday.
At about 9:11 a.m. Wednesday, investigators say police responded to Old Rio Grande Avenue in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township. According to investigators, a person who was walking on a back trail in a wooded area discovered two individuals who appeared to be deceased.
Upon police arrival, investigators say they discovered the bodies of male and a female who were deceased.
The individuals at this time have not been identified and a joint investigation is presently underway by the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and the Detective Unit of the Middle Township Police Department.
