2 Arrested In Shooting Of Man At Atlantic City Casino
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say two men have been charged with shooting a man at the valet area of an Atlantic City hotel and casino.
Atlantic City police said in a statement Sunday that 23-year-old Eugene Storm and 30-year-old George Walker have been charged in the shooting of 25-year-old Xavier Smith at the Tropicana.
Police say they arrived at the Tropicana's valet tower after 2:30 a.m. and found Smith suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in serious condition and is stable.
Officials identified Storm and Walker using surveillance video and later arrested them.
Police say Storm is from Pennsylvania and Walker and Smith are from New York, but they did not provide hometowns.
It's unclear whether the defendants have attorneys who could speak for them.
