2 Arrested For Prostitution At Off-Campus Princeton University Bookstore
PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — Two people have been charged with prostitution at Princeton University's off-campus bookstore.
Authorities say 23-year-old bookstore employee Eric Everett met 20-year-old Brittany Smith on Craigslist and agreed to pay her for sex.
Princeton police say they met at the store and had at least three liaisons there. Each time, police say, they stole food from the store, which is owned by the university.
Everett and Smith were both arrested Tuesday and charged with prostitution and shoplifting. Smith, who lives in Keyport, was also charged with possession of marijuana and Adderall. A phone number for her could not be found.
The person who identified himself as Everett's father at his Chesterfield home said Everett was not home and that he didn't know about the case.
Neither suspect is a Princeton student.
