2 Arrested After Double Shooting In Logan; No Arrests In Three Others
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police in Philadelphia are investigating four separate overnight shootings.
In the first, around 11 p.m., a man and woman were shot in the 4900 block of Old York Road, near Rockland Street, in the city's Logan section. Both victims were hospitalized in critical condition. Police were questioning two suspects who were arrested near the scene.
Then, shortly before 11:30 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot near 61st and Market Streets in West Philadelphia. He was listed in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. No suspects were in custody.
Another shooting, near 5th and Westmoreland Streets, just after 11:30 p.m., left a 19-year-old man in critical condition. He was being treated at Temple University Hospital. No one was immediately arrested.
Finally, around midnight, an unknown gunman sprayed gunfire at the rear of a Holmesburg home from an alleyway near Vista Street. A 29-year-old woman was injured by one of the bullets. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of a minor wound. Police did not immediately know if she was a target of the shooter.
