$1M Powerball Ticket Sold At Bucks County 7-Eleven

LANGHORNE, Pa. (CBS) – Though no one hit the massive Powerball jackpot this past Saturday night, which now stands at $400 million, one lucky individual who bought a ticket at a Bucks County convenience store is $1 million richer.
The ticket, which was sold at the 7-Eleven on E. Lincoln Highway in Langhorne, correctly matched all five white balls, 21-24-36-42-45, but not the red Powerball 15, for a $1 million prize.
The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
More than 124,900 other Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes of up to $40,000 in the August 3 drawing, so all players are reminded to always check their tickets. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
Since no one hit the Powerball jackpot on Saturday, the jackpot now stands at an estimated annuity value of $400 million, or $230.3 million cash, for the Wednesday, August 7 drawing.
Powerball is sold in 43 states, Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
