19-Year-Old Struck By Car On Roosevelt Boulevard
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a 19-year-old woman was struck by a car on Roosevelt Boulevard on Tuesday night.
The incident happened at about 10:30 p.m. on Roosevelt Boulevard near Summerdale Avenue.
Chopper 3 HD was over the scene as police responded.
Philadelphia Police Accident Investigation Division says the car was traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver stopped at the scene.
The victim was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center with serious injuries.
The northbound outer lane of the Roosevelt Boulevard is shut down due to the accident scene.
