18-Year-Old Turns Himself In For Illegal Dumping Of Containers In Camden County

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- Gloucester Township Police say that an 18-year old has turned himself in for illegally dumping a large pile of trash in a wooded area of the Township last week (See Previous Story).
Authorities say Joseph Coghlan III, of Sewell, walked into police headquarters, and told detectives that he was the person who dumped more than 100 cans of printer ink off of Collier Drive behind the Marge Martin Sports Complex. Coghlan was charged with two counts of illegal dumping and released, but he does have a court date coming in the future.
Even though Coghlan turned himself in, the Camden County Department of Health and Human services' division of environmental and consumer services is still investigating the incident. Authorities say that they are also still looking for a white, Ford F250 pickup truck that was seen near the scene of the debris in connection with other trash found in that area.
