Philadelphia Zoo Celebrates Halloween With 'Boo At The Zoo'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Zoo celebrated Halloween early with Boo at the Zoo.
"Kids come in in their costumes, enjoy treats, learn about their favorite animals," said Laura Houston, Director of Public Programs.
A lot of parents took advantage of the beautiful day, taking their families to the zoo.
"There are tons of people here, lots of costumes; we just saw the parade with all the animals and the singing," one person, who was dressed as a witch, said.
Houston says there's a lot going on here at the zoo.
"Included in your entrance fee is all of your trick or treating through the zoo, the live animal shows that are going on, as well as our X-tink-shun puppet show. And of course, we have the parade with the puppet show as well."
And this is a two weekend event.
"It is October 22nd and 23rd and 29th and 30th, and you definitely want to come out and see us for it."
