15-Year-Old Boy Struck By Car In Camden County
LINDENWOLD, NJ (CBS) – Police say a 15-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle in Camden County on Wednesday.
Around 2:59 p.m., police were dispatched to the scene of an accident on the White Horse Pike by the McDonald's in Lindenwold.
Upon arrival, officers transported the teen, who was unconscious, to Cooper University Hospital for treatment.
Police say the victim was attempting to cross the White Horse Pike when he was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lane. The driver did remain at the scene.
The White Horse Pike is currently shut down eastbound for the investigation, with traffic being diverted down White Horse Avenue.
There is no word on the boy's condition at this time.
