12 Dogs Rescued From Alleged Dog Fighting Ring In Kensington
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – On Sunday, Police in Philadelphia executed a search warrant and broke up an alleged dog fighting ring.
12 dogs, three adult pitbulls and nine puppies, were seized from a home on the 3300 block of H Street in Kensington.
Officers arrested Rasheed Holland, 36, and charged him with multiple felony counts for possession of animals used in fighting and multiple summary charges for keeping animals in unsanitary conditions and lack of veterinary care.
The Pennsylvania SPCA called in the Philadelphia Police Department to investigate the discovery of narcotics found inside the property.
Holland may face additional charges in connection with those.
