11-Year-Old Boy Riding ATV Through Snow Dies Following Crash With Dump Truck
LOGAN Twp., N.J. (CBS)--An 11-year-old boy has died after an ATV he was riding in collided with a dump truck in Logan Township.
On Tuesday around 4:20 p.m., police responded to the scene of the accident in the area of Oak Grove Road and the 295 overpass.
The crash involved a R.E. Pierson's dump truck and the ATV that was pulling a sled with two elementary students riding on the back.
The passenger of the ATV, an 11-year-old boy, was fatally injured in the collision.
The driver of the ATV, an 8th-grade -girl, was transported to the hospital and was treated for her injuries.
Police are still investigating the incident.
