2 Men Dead, Another Injured After North Philadelphia Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Two men are dead and another is injured after a triple shooting in North Philadelphia Saturday afternoon.
At about 3 p.m., police were called out to the 2400 block of Oxford Street following reports of gunshots in the neighborhood. Police say two brothers, both in their thirties, were shot once in the head and once in the chest.
The older brother was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital in critical condition, but was prounced dead a short time later. His brother, believed to be 30 years old, was transported to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:37 p.m., according to authorities.
A third victim was shot in the foot and was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition.
Police have made no arrests at this time. The shooting remains under investigation.
