1 Killed, 3 Wounded in Trenton Nightclub Shooting
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — One man was killed and three other people were wounded during a shooting at an illegal nightclub in Trenton.
It's not yet clear what sparked the shooting, which occurred shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday in a building on Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The wounded victims were taken to hospitals, and the man was pronounced dead about five hours after the shootings occurred. Another victim was in critical condition, while the two others were in stable condition.
Mercer County prosecutors said the man who was killed lived above the nightclub. His name was not released, pending notification of relatives.
Besides the shooting victims, authorities say a woman who tried to run from the building was seriously burned on her legs by grease that spilled from a deep fryer.
