1 Injured, Traffic Delayed After Dump Truck Overturns On Garden State Parkway
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – One person was injured and traffic backed up for miles after a truck overturned on the Garden State Parkway.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes around Exit 30 near Somers Point.
The dump truck reportedly spilled a load of sand on the highway, causing traffic delays and forcing passing vehicles onto the shoulder.
The truck driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
