1 Injured, SEPTA Bus Struck In North Philadelphia Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police in North Philadelphia are investigating a shooting that left one man injured and a nearby SEPTA bus pierced with holes.
At about 2:45 p.m., authorities found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in his buttocks at Broad Street and Erie Avenue. Nearby at 16th Street and Erie Avenue, police discovered a SEPTA bus that was struck by stray bullets.
According to authorities, the bus was driving while it was struck and the driver got into an accident as a result. The driver is reportedly unharmed. Police say the bus did not have passengers at the time of the shooting.
The shooting victim was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made at this time.
Police diverted all traffic at 16th Street and Erie Avenue due to the investigation.
